$133.8K worth of drugs found in Searcy apartment, 1 man arrested


A man is behind bars after he was located inside a Searcy apartment with over $133,000 worth of drugs.

Authorities say Kershon Dwane Davis, 24, of Searcy, was arrested Thursday.

According to the White County Sheriff’s Office, the Central Arkansas Drug Task Force, along with the Searcy Police Department executed a search warrant at an apartment complex in the 300 block of Clinic Street.

During the search, investigators said they located approximately 1,785 grams of Marijuana, 465.6 grams of Methamphetamine, 60 grams of Cocaine, 1,913 Xanax pills, 935 Ecstasy pills, 54 grams of Mushrooms. 2 Acid “hits”, 4 loaded firearms, and $522.

Police believe the drugs have an estimated street value of approximately $133,800.

Davis is currently being held in the White County Detention Center facing 2 counts of Trafficking of a controlled substance, 4 counts of possession of controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, criminal use of a communication device, and maintaining a drug premise within 1000 feet of a school.

The case is still under investigation. further arrests may be pending after more information is gathered from the scene.
